To make it easier and quicker, you’ll be able to file GST online.

filingYou'll also be able to access supporting information, including electronic statements and notices. This is the first of many changes NZ IRD be making over the next few years to make tax simpler for taxpayers.

They'll also be contacting taxpayers over the next few weeks to talk more about the changes. 

Contacting NZ IRD after you've filed a GST return

Accounts will show "in review" while your return is being processed. If IRD needs more information they’ll contact you within 15 working days.
