COVID Support Payment

Applications are now open and can be made through myIR on the IRD website.

With some businesses struggling to understand how to determine if they've had the 40% drop in revenue that's required to get the payment — in particular, which dates to use — the IRD has updated their web content to clarify the issue. See link below:

Some businesses are concerned that their income was already low during January and early February this year, and the need to show a further 40% drop in revenue will mean they are ineligible for the payment.

In light of that, the Minister of Finance has announced that businesses will also be able to compare their income to the same period in 2021. For more details see press release dated 25 Feb 2022:
