Alliott NZ proudly supports our client Detective Shaun Winstanley, whose resilience and dedication inspire many.

Despite suffering life-threatening injuries during the Queen Street shooting in July 2023, Shaun remains steadfast in his commitment to public safety.

Sharing his journey on Television New Zealand’s Breakfast, Shaun reflected on the harrowing incident, his recovery and his determination to continue serving. Acknowledging his family, community and the expertise of medical professionals, Shaun’s story exemplifies courage and the will to overcome adversity. His unwavering resolve to protect others is a testament to the spirit of service.

Andrew Williams first met Shaun when he was playing rugby for Pakuranga.


"A fierce competitor on the field and a fierce friend off it, Shaun is a passionate person who puts 100% into whatever endeavour he is involved with," says Andrew.
